February Calendar

4:37 PM

As promised, the February calendar is here!
I really loved having the January one up next to my desk and I used it well and often. Hence the fact that there is another calendar ready and waiting for both me and you.
Instead of the usual hearts and roses most calendars have for February, I've gone for a bit of a tropical theme because I'm free for another two weeks and I have a feeling February is going to be a chill month.

In case you're not on holiday, or February isn't calm for you at all, hopefully looking at your calendar each morning will make you feel better. Make you feel more at peace even though you have lots of things to do or lots of deadlines to meet.

Seeing that this has been working, I can say with almost 100% certainty that in March there will be another calendar right here waiting for you. But I am going to need your help deciding what theme to go for. So feel free to leave your suggestions below or on Instagram!

Little things #2

2:12 PM

I finally finished my exams last week Monday so I’ve been free all of last week and honestly I was feeling a little overwhelmed. I still feel really overwhelmed. I had so much planned last week I didn't have a single day to just wind down after the exams. I have two more weeks of holiday and they're also pretty jam packed with things to do and people to see.

Now don't get me wrong. Last week was lovely and I thoroughly enjoyed it. But sometimes it just becomes too much and then it's hard to see the good things that have happened, you know?

So again, I've made a list of all the small, lovely things of this past week so I can look back at it during the moments where I feel overwhelmed so I can remember that it was all worth it in the end.
It's not much, but it does make me feel better.
Ps. Look out for the February calendar coming out on Wednesday!

Hope you guys are feeling calm and happy. And if not, hope you feel it soon.

New year, new me?

8:43 PM

New year, new me, right?
Wrong.
New year, same old me, but with new goals and some new motivation.

It's been a while, but I'm just gonna ignore that and call it a necessary leave of absence. I gravely underestimated how much going to college and living in a dorm for the first time was going to effect me and completely. change. everything.
BUT I am proud to say that I'm back and (hopefully) back to stay.

Like I said, same old me but new goals. One of these goals is being a little more organized this semester compared to the previous one. Because let me tell you, it was a disaster. So I decided that a huge monthly calendar would help keep track of classes, exams, social events,.. Blah blah blah, you get the drill.

I went looking on Pinterest, you know for those free printables? But I couldn't find anything that, how shall I say it, floated my boat? Fit my fancy? They were all just way to small.
So I decided to make one myself. Yes, I should be studying for my exams, but this calendar was important to keep track of not only when I have my exams but also my study schedule.

I thought I'd go ahead and share it with you because then I'd finally have a blogpost up again AND I'd have a calendar: two birds with one stone! (Not that you should throw stones at birds.) I should warn you however... I'm not a pro at things like this. It's not prefect. But who knows, they might get better each month...

It does come with some instructions:
1. It's spread across 4 different pages.
2. You need to print them all and then kinda stick them together. I know I know, not very professional but look, it works.
3. Before you stick them together though, you might want to write in all your important dates already. it's easier to do when all the pages are loose.

3. Then go ahead and stick it together, with glue, washi tape, whatever you have lying around and then hang it up.

And ta-da!
One big ass monthly calendar. I'm pretty proud of it to tell you the truth.
If I like it and end up using it all month I'll definitely make another one for February.
And I'll share that too, so stay tuned for that!
But for now, here's the January calendar for you.

Bye for now x
